Training

Turnaround ensures that all the areas recommended by the National minimum standards for staff training are delivered. All our staff attend training courses that are certificated and paid for by the company. Detailed records of staff training are held centrally on personnel files. The management team monitor compulsory training, ensuring certificates are current and valid. Refreshers and Training updates are organised for staff as certificates expire or legislation changes.

All staff have a personal development and training record, reviewed annually as part of appraisal. The Training Co-ordinator is available to give staff information, individual advice and guidance on request. If staff have additional support needs to access training, this will be arranged by the Training co-ordinator. Each team leader holds an additional budget for training that is disgressionary and can be used to fund external staff training.
